On Ibiza in the early nineties, Jo is a 25 year old music composer from Berlin, who wants to be a part of the nascent electronic music revolution. Martha has been living alone in her house facing the sea for 40 years. They meet and he is intrigued by the cello in the corner she refuses to play and the German language she refuses to speak. “A touching look at unrequited love and neglected memory”—Jordan Mintzer.
