DESCRIPTION:Friday / August 18\, 2023 / 7:00pm\nCoffeehouse open at 6:00pm\nBuy Tickets Online\nInspired by Classic Country\, Vintage Jazz\, Jump Blues\, and Americana\, “The Good Time Gals” are an all-gal band\, featuring fresh\, fun\, originals and uniquely arranged covers that are sure to keep toes tapping and hearts humming along well after the show is over. This act is chock-full of heart\, drive\, and originality. Though difficult to categorize into a singular genre\, all can agree this is where good music and good times meet. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMusic starts at 7:00pm and the coffeehouse opens at 6:00pm. Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door. Advance tickets are available at Hardt’s Music\, 115 East 3rd St. in Winona\, or through Eventbrite.com.

SUMMARY:Sgraffito Tile Workshop with Richard Spiller
DESCRIPTION:Saturday / August 19 / 12:00-3:00pm\nRichard Spiller\, a local potter from Wisconsin\, will present a Sgraffito tile workshop on August 19 from noon to 3 pm. Sgraffito (in Italian\, meaning “to scratch”) is a technique produced by applying a drawing to a hard\, red clay pottery piece and then scratching off parts of the layer to create contrasting images and patterns to reveal the clay color underneath. The tile is 8″ square and a simple design works best for this project. Students can bring their own drawings or use those provided. The tiles will be fired at Spiller’s studio and returned to participants at a later date. \nCost is $30 for members of WAC and $35 for non-members.
