She has written many new beautiful tunes for Patina over the past years that are sometimes very unique in time signature & rhythm and other times authentically Celtic sounding. \nSue Lee Ringwelski has been playing Irish music with Kara Mae White since the spring of 2016 and now enjoys performing the Irish songs & tunes that Patina brings to those venues and more. \nGreg has been hooked on Celtic music in all its forms. His first Bodhran was purchased from the maker in the village of Roundstone on a trip to Ireland. Today Greg plays a ‘Brendan White’ Bodhran for Patina as well as whistles\, accordion some backing guitar.

Barbara holds a Bachelor of Science in Fine Art and serves as the art competition coordinator and consulting board member for the Med City Art Festival in Rochester. \nBarbara’s deep interest in birds inspired this project. Her paintings focus on raising awareness about climate-sensitive birds. She has selected ten birds from southeast Minnesota that are familiar to the audience. \nThis event marks the third Sunday of our Seven Sundays: WAC Art & Music 2026 series at WAC and features a live musical performance by Brian Ebbinger from 2pm–3:30pm. \nSeven Sundays: WAC Art & Music 2026 is an arts and music series during 2026 where a musical performance will be paired with each newly hung visual art exhibit. All seven events are free.

All supplies are provided. \nThis workshop will introduce beginners and intermediate participants to the technique of Multiple Color Reduction Linoleum block printing\, allowing the printing of additional colors while learning advanced registration skills to create sharp\, crisp images. \nParticipants will learn how to prepare and carve linoleum blocks\, the importance of layering\, color choices\, and working safely in a printmaking studio. \nParticipants do not need to have strong drawing skills. This course is suited for artists 18 and up. SUMMARY:Gel Print Platemaking: Image Transfer Basics
DESCRIPTION:Thursday / April 9 / 5:00PM – 7:30PM\nCost: $30 Members & Non-members. One-time $15 materials fee. \nWorking with glossy magazine pages and laser printed artwork we’ll first transfer those images to the gel plate. Multiple colors can be added using brushes or stencils before adding the final paint layer and pulling highly stylized and textural prints. What does she represent? Your Spirit Doll’s limbs and body will be crafted from beautiful tree branches gathered in the Driftless Area. \nEmbellish your Spirit Dolls with botanicals\, stones\, shells\, fabrics\, and found elements. Molded air-dried clay faces or pre-painted kiln-fired clay faces designed by artist Lyn Belisle will be available.
