There will be two sessions available: families and children from 10:00am to 1:00pm and adults only from 1:30pm to 4:30pm. \nCome down and create Valentine’s themed monoprints using our printing press. All materials and stencils are provided to make beautiful prints to give to your family and friends or to keep for yourself! No experience is necessary. All ages are welcome during the times listed above. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult. \nDrop in and share in the fun! \nFree Inks are made possible through a grant from the Altra Federal Credit Union. \nThis activity is made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Southeastern Minnesota Arts Council thanks to a legislative appropriation from the arts and cultural heritage fund.

Open Print Studio is designed for those who are interested in printmaking or those that have art projects that they would like to work on. \nWAC has a fully equipped print studio known as Riverbed Press\, complete with a Conrad Etching Press with an approximate 22” x 44” press bed. No previous printmaking experience is necessary. Printmaking supplies (ink\, paper) and equipment will be available. \nIn addition to printmaking\, the Studio will be open for people to work on art projects such as watercolors\, drawing\, etc. Those participants will bring their own art supplies. \nStudio passes are $40 for 5 visits to the studio and can be purchased at the Open Studio. DESCRIPTION:Thursdays beginning March 10\, 2022 / 4:30-8:00 pm\n$40 punch card valid for 5 sessions\nBeginning Thursday\, March 10\, 2022\, the Winona Arts Center (WAC) will hold an Open Print Studio with local printmaker Dan Grimslid every Thursday between 4:30 and 8:00 pm. Open Print Studio is designed for those who are interested in printmaking or those that have art projects that they would like to work on. \nWAC has a fully equipped print studio known as Riverbed Press\, complete with a Conrad Etching Press with an approximate 22” x 44” press bed. No previous printmaking experience is necessary. Printmaking supplies (ink\, paper) and equipment will be available. \nIn addition to printmaking\, the Studio will be open for people to work on art projects such as watercolors\, drawing\, etc. Those participants will bring their own art supplies. \nStudio passes are $40 for 5 visits to the studio and can be purchased at the Open Studio.
