SUMMARY:LVDY in Concert
DESCRIPTION:Saturday / November 1 / 7:00pm\n$20 (+processing fees) in Advance / $25 at the Door\nTickets will be available at Music Mart (formerly Hardt’s Music) and Eventbrite until November 1 at 4:00pm. Note: Music Mart now accepts credit cards and checks made out to Music Mart.\nCoffeehouse & gallery open at 6:00pm. Cash bar for wine & beer.\nPerformance at 7:00pm\nLVDY (pronounced LADY) is a Colorado-based duo consisting of Kathleen Hooper and Aubrey Mable. Known for their uplifting sound and intimate storytelling\, LVDY blends singer-songwriter sensibilities with indie-folk melodies\, delivering powerful harmonies and lyrics that resonate deeply. Their music is a heartfelt reminder that we’re not alone\, weaving love anthems with simple yet significant messages of hope and connection. Inspired by the natural beauty of the outdoors and influences such as Maggie Rogers\, Rising Appalachia\, and Trevor Hall\, their ethereal harmonies and meaningful lyrics invite listeners into a world of warmth and vulnerability. \nThe Denver-based duo of Kathleen Hooper and Aubrey Mable\, known as LVDY\, drenched the Knockout Stage in joyful exuberance on Friday. UMS is the first festival for the duo\, and their stage presence is palpable. With an inherent ability to engage and interact with the crowd\, LVDY surely added a few more fans to their “LVDY mob” through Hooper’s powerful vocals\, Mable’s soulful guitar playing and the sheer honesty and positivity of their lyrics. A light rain only added to the dreamy vibe of the set as the duo played a mix of original tracks from their recent EP as well as a cover of Rihanna’s “Love on the Brain” intertwined with the hymn “Ave Maria\,” and an unreleased track focused on cultivating gratitude despite the hardships of life. Their set seemed to further solidify their rising star status in the local music scene and spread awareness for the overwhelmingly uplifting message that is LVDY. — Chloe Dore\, 303 Magazine \nIt didn’t take long for Denver’s LVDY to cut through the noise and burst onto the music scene in a major way. Shepherding a folksy yet soulful sound into Denver’s collective conscious\, Aubrey Mable and Kathleen Hooper have amassed tens of thousands of streams and sold out their first headlining gig at Lost Lake with a mere two songs to their name. Mable\, the gritty DIY backbone of the group\, lives in direct contrast to Hooper’s elegance and theatrical presence\, but together\, despite how different they may seem\, when they come together as LVDY\, its nothing short of amazing. LVDY is an acoustic/electric duo who wears their gender as a beacon of empowerment\, hence the “V” in their name\, and if their early successes are any indication\, the future is female. Catching up with the women of LVDY for their miraculous first interview ever\, at a “girl-power” themed Sofar Sounds event\, we talked about their backstory\, living and busking in New Zealand and how 2018 changed everything for them. — 303 Magazine \nwww.lvdymusic.com \nThis performance is made possible in part thanks to the generous support of Merchants Bank\, Dahl Auto\, and Affinity Plus.

SUMMARY:Opposable Thumbs
DESCRIPTION:Friday / September 12 / 7:00pm\n$15 (+processing fees) in Advance / $20 at the Door\nTickets will be available at Music Mart (formerly Hardt’s Music) and Eventbrite until September 12 at 4:00pm. Note: Music Mart now accepts credit cards and checks made out to Music Mart.\nCoffeehouse & gallery open at 6:00pm. Cash bar for wine & beer.\nPerformance at 7:00pm\nOpposable Thumbs is a four-piece string band that performs originals and progressive string band music. This band first performed in the 90’s. After about 20 years\, they started meeting weekly\, reviving past repertoire\, and adding some new material. With original members Wayne Beezley; mandolin and octave mandolin\, Rick Sampson; banjo\, guitar and mandolin\, Betsy Neil; fiddle\, they added a new bass player\, Larry Dalton\, and continued honing their skills. \nWayne Beezley\, landed in Winona after performing with the notable Bluegrass band\, Monroe Doctrine\, which was based in Colorado. Wayne’s time with Monroe Doctrine took him to major festivals\, college campuses\, and other popular venues across the country. This band was cutting edge Progressive Bluegrass and influenced many young musicians\, bringing this style of bluegrass music to the Midwest in the ‘70’s. He currently performs locally with The Bus Boys and String Ties. \nSince 1977\, Rick Sampson has been delighting audiences with his innovative banjo playing with a variety of bands including The Riverbenders\, Traveling Kind\, and Suite Grass. He has worked with a variety of bands including a Scottish Rock group\, Peter Ostroushko\, Kate Mackenzie\, Chris Silver\, Brian Wicklund\, and jazz violinist Randy Sabien\, to name a few. He placed second at the Telluride festival in the banjo competition two years in a row. Also\, after attending the Red Wing Technical College\, he started making banjo bridges that are sold internationally and used by prominent musicians worldwide. He has crafted and sold wooden flutes and flat picks as well. \nBetsy Neil began learning music on violin and piano as a child. As a young adult she continued to perform in symphonies\, string quartets and theater pits\, but soon became interested in swinging her bow in a different direction. In the mid-seventies she developed a strong interest in fiddling and studied a variety of styles including Bluegrass\, Appalachian old time\, Swing\, Celtic\, and Cajun. She has performed in numerous string bands\, the most notable being\, The Buffalo Gals. Currently she performs with the Twin Cities based Cajun band\, Roux La La and Winona Symphony\, as well as anything else that calls for a violin or fiddle. \nRich Casey\, first performed with Opposable Thumbs about 20 years ago. Rich is a musical man about town who\, in addition to providing a solid musical foundation to the High 48s’ hard‐driving bluegrass sound\, keeps a busy performance schedule lending his doghouse skills to a wide range of musical situations. \nThis performance is made possible in part thanks to the generous support of Merchants Bank\, Dahl Auto\, and Affinity Plus.

Check out the bios of these great musicians. \nJan Stroup is a guitarist and vocalist with 50 years of professional experience in the Midwest\, playing rock\, R&B\, blues\, jazz\, and country. His notable bands include Fatt City and The Sevilles. “Dapper Jan” is also known for his dry wit and sartorial excellence. \nAndy Vaaler plays piano\, organ\, accordion\, and sings. His occasional raps have earned him the moniker “Plain White Rapper”. He has played with a wide variety of people in the Twin Cities area\, with a musical background including blues\, jazz standards\, swing\, rock\, country and R&B. A protege of Dan Newton\, Andy joined the Poppas in 2022 and has been delighting audiences ever since. \nMax Ray plays saxophone and sings with the Poppas. Max is well known locally and nationally as a member of The Wallets\, The Explodo Boys\, The Suburbs\, The New Standards\, Willie Murphy and the Angel Headed Hipsters\, Mister Rowles\, The Fragrants\, and Gondwana. He escaped Minneapolis\, and resides on his farm near Shell Lake\, Wisconsin\, tending his menagerie of chickens\, mules\, horses\, and dogs. \nJoe Luoma on percussion\, sound effects\, and vocals\, provides esoteric cultural observations about his native Iron Range. From his beginning with Wayne and the Avantis in 1965\, he migrated to the Twin Cities and played with Cats Under the Stars (later the Paul Metsa Group)\, as well as the Jaguars\, Tom’s Pirate Band\, Dan Newton’s Jumbo Ya Ya\, and Iron Range favorites Rangers on Mer Lot and “stupor group” the Evinrudes (which featured Joe on an outboard motor /smoke machine). Joe handles the fake band endorsements for “Simple Green” – (“It’s simple\, it’s green”) and “Hamm’s” – (“From the land of sky-blue waters\, Land of loped off pines and dead birch trees…”). \nTedd Halvorson on vocals and guitars is an original Swamp Poppa. Very original. And by guitars\, we mean several\, in different tunings for his signature slide guitar sounds. He’s known as a key player in Minnesota bands such as Lost Soul\, the Sweaters\, the Minneapolis Molines\, and Molly and the Heymakers in the1980s; Fatt City\, the Dearborns\, and Busted Flat in the 1990s\, and in Nazmo King\, Hip Bone\, and the Swamp Poppas since the early 2000s. \nLucinda Plaisance\, vocals\, grew up in a musical family in Winona\, managing to thrive as a vocalist despite repeatedly skipping chorus class at Cotter HS. She sang in a couple rock and swing bands before going to “musical boot camp” as a member and soloist with Robert Robinson’s Twin Cities Gospel Choir for 16 years. Most recently\, she sang harmonies with the Midnight Choir Social Club\, and is a lead vocalist in the Americana/roots band The Lost Golden Toads. She’s loved singing the bluesy\, Louisiana-influenced tunes of the Swamp Poppas since they began a decade ago. \nKarl Smelker on bass and vocals\, is the founder and cat-herder extraordinaire of the Swamp Poppas. He’s played professionally for over 50 years\, logging 19 years with the Fabulous Minnesota Barking Ducks\, before switching to Zydeco\, Swamp Pop and Cajun with the Swamp Sextet\, The Faux Playboys\, Bone Tones\, and New Riverside Ramblers.

SUMMARY:Radoslav Lorković
DESCRIPTION:Radoslav Lorković at the Winona Arts Center\n$15 Adv / $20 at the Door\n7pm – 9pm\nCoffeehouse and gallery open at 6pm.\nTickets are available at Music Mart (formerly Hardt’s Music) and Eventbrite for $15 in advance and for $20 at the door. Get tickets here: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/radoslav-lorkovic-tickets-1134260326169 \nDrawing from a multitude of influences ranging from elegant classical and jazz styles to the rawest\, most basic blues\, country and soul\, Radoslav Lorković has taken on an unusually broad musical spectrum and refined it into his distinctive piano style. His tenure on the R&B and folk circuits has culminated in five critically acclaimed solo recordings and numerous appearances on the recordings of and performances with artists including Odetta\, Jimmy LaFave\, Ribbon of Highway Woody Guthrie Tribute\, Greg Brown\, Richard Shindell\, Ellis Paul\, Ronny Cox\, Dave Moore\, Andy White\, and Bo Ramsey. His thirty year touring career has led him from the taverns of the upper Mississippi River to the castles of Italy\, The Canary Islands\, The Yup’ik villages of Alaska\, The Kennedy Center and Carnegie Hall. Born in Zagreb\, Croatia in 1958\, Lorković’s initial exposure to music can be attributed to two grandmothers. Antonija\, his maternal Grandmother\, sang him Croatian\, Slovenian and Czech folk songs since birth. At age one he was reported to be singing back on pitch. By age three he was putting on floor shows for his grandfather and friends who would respond by showering him with coins yelling “pivaj Radoslav pivaj!” During this time classical music played in the home constantly due to the influence of his paternal grandmother Melita Lorković\, a internationally renown classical pianist. After this blend of central European musical influences Radoslav moved to the United States at age six. He had a foothold on a classical music career when at age fourteen he was sidetracked by a blues scale that a friend had taught him. \nAfter several years and countless hours of expounding on this spark\, Lorković began touring at age 20 with Bo Ramsey and the Sliders. Lorković entered the band having mastered the styles of boogie-woogie greats such as Albert Ammons\, Pete Johnson\, Freddie Slack etc.. Ramsey’s influence drove Lorković deeper to the core of the blues. The music of Howlin’ Wolf\, Muddy Waters and Little Walter shifted Lorković’s focus to the basics as he began to draw from the styles of Otis Spann and Pinetop Perkins. Several years later Lorković and Ramsey joined forces with Greg Brown adding musical authenticity to his deep Iowa Roots. At this time Lorković was simultaneously brushing up on his classical heritage and looking south to the polyrhythmic sounds of Professor Longhair and James Booker. He had picked up Tex-Mex and Zydeco accordion as well. In 1990 he made his solo recording debut. Six CDs later\, Lorković currently tours the world regularly appearing at prestigious events such as the Woody Guthrie Folk Festival\, WOMAD\, Winnipeg\, Calgary\, Edmonton and Ottawa folk festivals\, Falcon Ridge Folk Festival\, Mountain Stage\, Prairie Home Companion\, eTown as well as a litany of Italian castles and villas.

SUMMARY:Patina
DESCRIPTION:$10 in Advance / $15 at the Door\nTickets are available at Music Mart (formerly Hardt’s Music) and Eventbrite until January 11 at 4:00pm. \nBuy tickets on Eventbrite https://www.eventbrite.com/e/patina-at-the-winona-arts-center-tickets-1091835763159\nCoffeehouse & gallery open at 6:00pm. \nPatina is a violin\, whistle\, bodhrán\, accordion and guitar band that plays mixed Celtic\, folk and original music. Patina started in early 2016 as a trio with Mike Watson\, Kara Mae Prosen & Sue Lee Ringwelski coming together to play for a wedding. It was so much fun they decided to keep playing together. Since the beginning of Patina they have had up to six band members in the past\, at one time or another\, who have collaborated with and helped to bring the sound to where it is today. With the changes in the band in spring 2024\, Patina is now a 3 member collaboration of sound springing from the love of many types of music by Kara Mae Prosen\, Sue Lee Ringwelski\, and Greg Peterson. \nSue Lee Ringwelski has been sharing her easy listening music with her friends and family in homes\, at campfires\, family functions\, events and coffee houses on a regular basis for many years. She started playing Irish music with Mike Watson and Kara Mae White in the spring of 2016 and now enjoys performing the Irish songs & tunes that Patina brings to those venues and more. Sue Lee has written or collaborated on many of the originals that Patina now plays. She loves the stories as well as the traditional musical sound of many of their originals. \nKara Mae has had sixteen years of classical training with her instrument. She is an award winning fiddler having won a fiddle contest at the Lacrosse\, WI Irish Festival. If you ask her about her true passion for making music\, she will tell you that she is an “Irish fiddler” first and foremost. Kara Mae has a high energy playing style that brings the “Irish” into many of Patina’s songs. Her beautiful singing voice also enhances the stories that are inherent in many of the Irish folk songs that Patina plays. \nKara Mae is a prolific musical artist. She has written many new beautiful tunes for Patina over the past years that are sometimes very unique in time signature & rhythm and other times authentically Celtic sounding. \nIn the late 1980’s Greg’s wife\, Kathy\, brought home from the library a Celtic compilation cassette entitled “The Celts Rise Again.” Since that fateful day over thirty years ago Greg has been hooked on Celtic music in all its forms. His first Bodhrán was purchased from the maker in the village of Roundstone on a trip to Ireland. It’s been to many Irish music sessions. In Winona he ran an Irish Music session for three years. Today Greg plays a ‘Brendan White’ Bodhrán for Patina. The high whistles are made by ‘Michael Burke Whistles’ and ‘McNeela Music Instruments’ and the low whistle is made by ‘Carbony Celtic Winds’. He also plays the accordion and backing guitar. Greg is thrilled to be playing in Patina with such a fine (and fun) group of musicians.

SUMMARY:Mississippi Hot Club
DESCRIPTION:$20 advance (+ processing fees) \n$25 door \nTickets are available on Eventbrite until October 26 at 4:00pm. \nCoffeehouse & gallery open at 6:00pm on October 26. \n“Over the past five years\, this quintet has become one of the Midwest’s preeminent string bands. Originally an homage to French Gypsy Jazz\, the quintet’s music has begun to take on a more eclectic\, adventurous persona as other influences have crept into the palette.” \n-Twin Cities Jazz Fest\, 2017 \nMississippi Hot Club is inspiring a new generation of young swingers in Minnesota. With reverence and chops\, Mississippi Hot Club’s new album\, Swing Cities\, shines light on the bold music of Django Reinhardt from a fresh pop-oriented perspective. \nRecorded at Wild Sound Recording Studio in Minneapolis\, Swing Cities masterfully captures MHC’s spunky performances\, featuring an upbeat approach to jazz manouche\, hot club jazz\, and gypsy jazz. Swing Cities captivates with its high caliber swing and rhythms that run from cool to fiery. \nJoshua Parlanti’s engaging improvisation on lead guitar is complimented by the fierce solos of violinist Alissa Jacobsen. This fearless duo is supported by la pompe rhythm guitarists Ian Stenlund and Luke Zupan\, along with airtight upright bassist Joseph Downing. \nSpanning several eras of Django’s repertoire\, Parlanti conveys his melodies on acoustic and electric guitar\, playing with a recognizable “Gypsy” flair. His approach is soulful and refreshing\, hitting on the more frisky verve that people in the 1930s heard in Django’s playing. On intimate ballads that round out the album’s spectrum of moods\, Parlanti skillfully debuts dreamy Steinway piano performances. \nIn a still growing jazz tradition now elevated in the Twin Cities\, Swing Cities charmingly combines a vintage feel with modern artistry. \nNote: Eventbrite’s fee is non-refundable.

SUMMARY:Claudia Schmidt & Sally Rogers
DESCRIPTION:Saturday / September 21\, 2024 / 7:00pm\n$25 in Advance / $30 at the Door\nTickets are available at Music Mart (formerly Hardt’s Music) until September 20 at 5:00pm or Eventbrite until September 21 at 4:00pm\nCoffeehouse & gallery open at 6:00pm\nBuy tickets online: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/claudia-schmidt-sally-rogers-tickets-950240584167\nFolksingers Claudia Schmidt and Sally Rogers have been weaving their voices\, dulcimers\, and guitars together for decades\, creating an atmosphere of joy and musical lushness that audiences find so irresistible\, they frequently join right in. Their soaring harmonies (‘blood harmony’ was how one fan described it)\, fascinating double dulcimer work\, and the mix of 6 and 12 string guitars\, blend with a wide choice of songs. In one concert\, they combine their originals\, plus traditional songs\, and choice compositions of contemporary songwriters. A concert by these two masters of their craft is an immensely satisfying and restorative experience. Time has only deepened and enriched the music they create together. \nClaudia and Sally have been perfecting their craft of performing for almost four decades\, both as solo artists and as a duo. Claudia’s is a quirky and wonderful hodge-podge (her word!) of music\, poetry\, story\, laughter\, drama\, and celebrating the moment. Work in clubs\, theaters\, festivals\, TV\, radio has added depth and dimension\, and since she has always included her original work along with very personal versions of the work of others\, what you get is a unique look at the world from someone who says what she sees with clarity\, humor\, and wonder. The San Francisco Bay Guardian said: Schmidt’s shows are a lot like falling in love. You never know what’s going to happen next\, chances are it’s going to be wonderful\, every moment is burned into your memory and you know you’ll never be the same again. More succinctly\, Garrison Keillor said “when Claudia sings a song\, it stays sung”. \nSally Rogers began her career as a full-time touring musician in 1979\, after encouragement from Stan Rogers\, the legendary Canadian singer-songwriter. That was followed by an invitation from Garrison Keillor to appear on A Prairie Home Companion. She appeared more than a dozen times on that show\, which launched her performing career. Her travels have since taken her to Europe\, China\, Hungary and Poland\, England and Scotland and across the United States. Her concerts enfold the audience in the music as they are encouraged to join in throughout the evening. Her gorgeous singing voice\, boundless energy and good humor are welcomed from coast to coast. \nDISCOGRAPHY \nClosing the Distance Flying Fish Records 1987\nWhile We Live Red House Records 1991\nEvidence of Happiness Pragmavision 2012\nWe are Welcomed Pragmavision 2016

SUMMARY:The Swamp Poppas
DESCRIPTION:Coffeehouse & gallery open at 6:00pm\nTicket are $20 advance/ $25 door and available through Eventbrite until April 27 at 3pm or at Music Mart ( Formerly Hardts Music) until April 26 at 4pm.\n\nWine\, Beer and Cajun treats will be available for your enjoyment at this event. Let the good times roll!\nThe Swamp Poppas play Swamp Pop music. \nIt all started in the 1950’s in Southwest Louisiana. Young folks grew up hearing and playing traditional Cajun and Zydeco\nmusic in their families and local venues. Starting with that base\, they added the sounds they were hearing on the radio\nand jukeboxes in the region to those traditional sources and Swamp Pop was born. \nMany early Swamp Pop hits were ballads\, featuring highly emotional lyrics\, tripleting piano\, prominent bass lines\, large\nhorn sections and a strong rhythm and blues backbeat. Examples of these are Cookie and the Cupcakes song “Mathilda”\,\nDale and Graces’s “I’m Leaving It All Up to You”\, Rod Bernard’s “This Should Go on Forever”\, and Phil Phillip’s “Sea of\nLove” (later covered by Robert Plant of Led Zepplin fame). \nThere were also rockers\, such as Frankie Ford’s “Sea Cruise”\, Bobby Charles’ “See You Later Alligator” and Randy and the\nRocket’s “Let’s Do the Cajun Twist”. And a swamp popper might even bring in a Cajun accordion for a solo on Johnnie\nAllan’s cover of a Chuck Berry song\, “The Promised Land”. \nThe new genre absorbed other regional styles such Tex Mex\, Tejano\, and Norteno from East Texas. Freddy Fender had a\nSwamp Pop hit with “Wasted Days and Wasted Nights”. Los Lobos has covered the Swamp Pop hit “I Got Loaded”\,\noriginally by Lil’ Bob and the Lollipops. \nA lot of influences came from nearby New Orleans. The city is known for its classic R & B and early Rock’n’roll along with\nSecond Line marching bands and Dixieland. The Soul Queen of New Orleans\, Irma Thomas\, had Swamp Pop hits with\n“It’s Raining” and “Time Is on My Side”. \nSwamp Pop music has evolved over the years. New styles appear and hit the airwaves. Then Swamp Pop absorbs them\ninto the catalog. Country and Western star\, Johnny Horton has a hit with “North to Alaska”\, Johnnie Allan answers with\n“South to Louisiana. An old hillbilly song\, “The Prisoner’s Song” from the 1920’s was turned into a hit by Warren Storm in\n1958. Psychedelic music becomes popular and John Fred and the Playboy Band have a hit with “Judy in Disguise (with\nGlasses)”. Mix Swamp Pop and Hip Hop and you get Cypress City’s “Cajun Rap Song” and “Hot Boudin”. \nKarl Smelker\, the founder of the Swamp Poppas\, shared a Louisiana music show on the local community radio station\,\nKFAI. While the show mainly featured Cajun and Zydeco\, Karl started playing Swamp Pop records he had picked up on his\ntravels south. He found several of the other DJs on the station also were Swamp Pop fans. They got together and would\ndo an annual 4-to-5-hour radio show called the Swamp Pop Extravaganza. As the annual show grew in popularity Karl\nalso found a bunch of musicians from Twin Cities bands who also loved Swamp Pop. While they loved the music\, they\nfelt there might not be a large audience for a Louisiana music sub-genre here in the Frozen North. \nEventually they threw caution to the wind held a benefit for the Second Harvest food shelf. In 2007 the first Swamp Pop\nExtravaganza Show raised a bunch of cash and food for Second Harvest. It also gathered musicians from several bands;\nthe Rockin’ Pinecones\, the Swamp Sextet and Jumbo Ya Ya to form a core band. The band played Swamp Pop tunes and\nprovided backing for several guest artists like Becky Thompson\, Tom Lieberman\, Lucinda Plaisance\, Jon Rodine\, and Bill\nBatson. \nThe Swamp Pop Extravaganzas continued raising money and food for Second Harvest over the years. Covid put the full\nextravaganza on hiatus. But the core musicians found an audience in Minnesota and have been playing Swamp Pop ever\nsince as the Swamp Poppas.

SUMMARY:Chris Koza Duo
DESCRIPTION:Chris Koza Duo\nSaturday / April 13\, 2024 / 7:00pm\nTickets $15 in advance at Music Mart (formerly Hardt’s Music) until April 12 at 5:00pm or Eventbrite until April 13 at 3:00pm or $20 at the door\nCoffeehouse & gallery open at 6:00pm\nBuy Tickets Online\nComposer / Performer Chris Koza is an internationally-recognized Americana artist. Chris has toured the US extensively\, sharing the stage with Gordon Lightfoot\, Brandi Carlile\, Ingrid Michaelson\, Andrew Bird\, Stephen Kellogg\, and many others. His music appears regularly on ABC’s General Hospital\, 60 Minutes\, and Good Morning America. His song (Rogue Valley) The Wolves and the Ravens was featured in Ben Stiller’s film The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. \nChris embraces classic Americana with a contemporary feel and utilizes a wide range of textures in creating music rooted in folk and pop\, with an emphasis on storytelling. Subtle synthesizers\, rich harmonies and pop-music sensibilities interweave with acoustic and electric guitars\, earthy pianos\, and familiar rhythms. For every song that sounds like it could be strummed from a boxcar clacking slowly across a grassy midwestern plain\, there’s a tune sailing from a city rooftop\, echoing across a valley of streets and traffic\, or a melody twisting and shimmering like a dim frequency deep into the starry night.\nLongtime friend and guitarist Peter Sieve joins Chris for a stretch of duo dates this Spring\, throughout the Midwest and Colorado. The pair have been playing and performing music together since meeting over acoustic guitars in the dorms as Freshmen years ago at St. Olaf College. They’ve been at various festivals including SXSW\, Iceland Airwaves and CMJ\, and have covered long stretches of highway; storytellers in pursuit of a stage. \nSolo\, with Rogue Valley\, and his moniker Nobody Kid\, Chris has self-produced\, written\, and released sixteen albums and EP’s. In 2023\, Rogue Valley released their 6th album Shell Game. Currently\, Chris is rediscovering old sessions and reimagining forgotten material for a collection called Graveyard Shift\, which revives songs spanning the last twenty years. \nSOCIAL MEDIA LINKS:\nWebsite: https://chriskoza.com/\nFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/chriskozasongs/\nInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/chriskoza/
