DESCRIPTION:Saturday / March 21 / 12:30PM – 4PM \nCost: $50 Members / $55 Non-members. All materials included. \nJoin us at the Winona Arts Center on March 21\, 2026 from 12:30pm to 4pm for Ukrainian Egg Decorating with Jane Bangsberg. You will create beautiful heirloom eggs using a wax resist method very similar to batik. Students will leave class with finished eggs and all of the supplies needed to decorate more eggs at home.  \nAdult class. DESCRIPTION:Saturday / March 21 / 1PM – 2:30PM\nFree Event \nJoin former Winona photographer Steve Schild as he presents his photographs of railroad art for this FREE program on March 21 from 1:00-2:30. \nDrawings on railroad cars are called monikers\, and they vary in style\, size and every other aspect of the visual arts. Sometimes funny\, sometimes dead serious\, they always have something to show and say. Steve Schild\, emeritus Saint Mary’s University faculty\, will present and discuss examples of railroad monikers he’s photographed in and around Winona.

They will have their new CD for sale and we will have some special St. Pat’s Day treats as well as a cash bar for wine & beer and of course\, Guinness & N/A Guinness as well. \nKara Mae has had sixteen years of classical training with her instrument. She is an award-winning fiddler having won a fiddle contest at the Lacrosse\, WI Irish Festival. She has written many new beautiful tunes for Patina over the past years that are sometimes very unique in time signature & rhythm and other times authentically Celtic sounding. \nSue Lee Ringwelski has been playing Irish music with Kara Mae White since the spring of 2016 and now enjoys performing the Irish songs & tunes that Patina brings to those venues and more. \nGreg has been hooked on Celtic music in all its forms. His first Bodhran was purchased from the maker in the village of Roundstone on a trip to Ireland. Today Greg plays a ‘Brendan White’ Bodhran for Patina as well as whistles\, accordion some backing guitar.
