DESCRIPTION:The Sandbar Storytelling Circle sessions\, led by Terry Visger\, an educator and professional storyteller\, will be held at the following places and dates: \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nSaturday\, April 22\, 2023 at 10 am \nCuriosi-Tea House\, 901 West 5th Street\, Winona \nSaturdays at 10 am\, May 6 and 20\, June 3 and 17\, and July 1\, 15 and 29  \nWinona Arts Center\, 228 East 5th Street\, Winona \nThese are 90-minute sessions and the fee is $80 for all eight sessions. \nFor more information about the festival and other events\, go to sandbarstorytellingfestival.org.

DESCRIPTION:UPDATE 5/11/23 — This two-part class has been canceled due to low enrollment.\nSaturday / May 13\, 2023 / 12:00-3:00pm\nand\nSaturday / May 20\, 2023 / 12:00-3:00pm\nEach class is $25 for members and $30 for non-members. \nThis is a two-part class. On May 13\, participants will roll out slabs of red clay and press the clay into a plastic mold of their choice. Each participant will make two of the pressed molds. The molds will be bisque fired at Spiller’s studio. \nOn May 20\, participants will paint the fired molds and apply a glaze. The molds will be fired a second time at Spiller’s studio and returned to participants at a later date. The student can choose to skip the second class and simply use acrylic paints at home. DESCRIPTION:Saturday / May 20\, 2023 / 7:00pm\nCoffeehouse and Gallery open at 6:00pm\nBuy Tickets Online\nJeani & The Dreamers keep classic Rock & Roll and easy listening country and folk music alive and well. Jeani and Steve Jorde and son Andrew Jorde\, members of the former Winona dance band Union Station\, and longtime Winona musician Curt Glenna\, love the laid-back\, almost unplugged structure of their style of performance. Although they didn’t intend on becoming a dance band\, listeners often rise up and feel compelled to engage in the music through dance. Their music includes classic hits by The Beatles; Eagles; Crosby\, Stills\, Nash\, & Young; Linda Ronstadt; Fleetwood Mac; and others. \nTickets are $10 in advance or $15 at the door. Tickets can be purchased at Hardt’s Music\, 115 East 3rd St in Winona\, until 4:00pm on May 19\, or through Eventbrite.
